Possui doutorado em Fisica de Particulas Elementares - University of Durham, Inglaterra (1997). Pós doutorados pela Universidade de Coimbra (1999-2002) , Université Paris XI, Orsay (2007) e Institute for Particle Physics Phenomenology IPPP, Durham, Reino Unido (2014). Foi professor do departamento de Física da UFMG de 2002 a 2017. Atualmente é professor associado da Universidade Federal do ABC. Tem experiência na área de Física de Partículas Elementares e Teoria Quântica de Campos e aplicações, fundamentos de mecânica quântica e aspectos de informação quântica relativística, em particular aplicações em metrologia quântica e efeitos não-inerciais sobre o emaranhamento quântico. Faz parte de um grupo de pesquisa integrando colaboradores da UFPI, UFT, UFOP, UESC, Universidade de Durham e Universidade de Coimbra (www.qfterqi.com)

 

Ph.D. in Elementary Particle Physics from University of Durham, England (1997). Postdoctoral studies at the University of Coimbra (1999-2002), Université Paris XI, Orsay (2007) and Institute for Particle Physics Phenomenology IPPP, Durham, UK (2014). He was a professor in the physics department at UFMG from 2002 to 2017. He is currently an associate professor at the Federal University of ABC. He has experience in the field of Elementary Particle Physics and Quantum Field Theory and applications, foundations of quantum mechanics and relativistic quantum information aspects, in particular applications in quantum metrology and noninertial effects on quantum entanglement. He is part of a research group integrating collaborators from UFPI, UFT, UFOP, UESC, University of Durham and University of Coimbra (www.qfterqi.com)
