Eduardo de Moraes Gregores

Doutorado pelo Instituto de Física Teórica da Unesp (IFT) em 1997

Físico formado pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP) com Licenciatura obtida em 1984 e Bacharelado em 1990, Doutorado pelo Instituto de Física Teórica da Unesp (IFT) em 1997 e Pós-Doutorado na Universidade de Wisconsin, EUA, em 1999. Participou do experimento DZero do acelerador de partículas Tevatron no Fermilab (EUA) e participa atualmente do experimento CMS do acelerador LHC no CERN (Suiça). Foi coordenador de Projeto Jovem Pesquisador da Fapesp e professor do IFT-Unesp. É atualmente professor da Universidade Federal do ABC, onde foi Pró-Reitor de Pós-Graduação e Pró-Reitor de Pesquisa. É também Pesquisador Nível 2 do CNPq e Pesquisador Principal de Projeto Temático da Fapesp.


Has studied in the University of São Paulo (USP), in physics teaching in 1984 and Bachelor in Physics in 1990; Ph.D. from the Institute of Theoretical Physics Unesp (IFT) in 1997 and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Wisconsin, USA, in 1999. Participated in the DZero experiment at the Tevatron particle accelerator at Fermilab (USA) and currently participates in the CMS experiment at the LHC accelerator at CERN (Switzerland). He was coordinator of Fapesp Project "Young Researcher" and professor of IFT-UNESP. He is currently a professor at the Federal University of ABC, where he was Dean of Graduate Studies and Dean of Research. It is also Researcher Level 2 of CNPq and Principal Investigator of a FAPESP Thematic Project.
