Ana Melva Champi Farfán

Doutorado pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2004)


Possui graduação em Ciencias Físicas - Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (1997), Mestrado em Física pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2000), Doutorado em Física pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2004) e Pós Doutorado em Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Atualmente é Prof. Adjunto III da Universidade Federal do ABC. Tem experiência na área de Física da Matéria Condensada, com ênfase no estudo das propriedades eletrônicas, mecânicas e magnéticas em filmes finos de carbono, poucas camadas de grafenos, óxidos de grafenos e incorporação de nanopartículas em grafenos. Assim como nas possíveis aplicações destes materiais na fabricação de dispositivos de micro e nanoeletrônica utilizando técnicas litográficas. Atualmente é revisor da: Applied Physics Letters, Diamond & Related Materials, Journal of Non Crystalline e Thin Solid Films. 

Graduated in Physical Sciences - Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (1997), Master in Physics from the State University of Campinas (2000), PhD in Physics from the State University of Campinas (2004) and Post Doctorate of Universidade de São Paulo (USP). She currently is an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of ABC. Works in Condensed Matter Physics, with emphasis on the study of electronic, mechanical and magnetic properties of thin carbon films, a few layers of graphene, graphene oxide and incorporation of nanoparticles in graphene, as well as in the possible applications of these materials in the fabrication of micro and nanoelectronic devices using lithographic techniques. Reviewer for the following journals: Applied Physics Letters, Diamond and Related Materials, Journal of Non Crystalline and Thin Solid Films.
