Reinaldo Cavasso Filho

Doutorado em Física (2002) Universidade Estadual de Campinas, com estágio no Institut für Laser Physik - Hamburg (Alemanha)


realizou pós-doutorado na UNICAMP e no LNLS (2003) e também no Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin (Alemanha, 2010). Entre 2003 e 2007, trabalhou no Laboratório Nacional de Luz Síncrotron (LNLS), operado para o MCT pela Associação Brasileira de Tecnologia de Luz Sincrotron. Desde 2008, é professor no Centro de Ciências Naturais e Humanas da Universidade Federal do ABC, atualmente no cargo de Professor Adjunto III. É orientador cadastrado no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Física da UFABC. Tem experiência nas área de Física de Lasers, Física Atômica e Molecular, Eletrônica de Controle, Instrumentação de ultravioleta e Gravitação e Teoria de Campos. Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: fotoionização, espectroscopia de tempo de vôo, engenharia de lasers, resfriamento e aprisionamento de átomos com laser, espectroscopia laser e síncrotron e instrumentação para linhas de luz e sistemas de vácuo. É representante eleito da área de Ciência Atômica e Molecular no "Comitê de Usuários do LNLS" desde a criação deste comitê em 2010.

 

Postdoctoral studies at UNICAMP and LNLS (2003) and also in the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin (Germany, 2010). Between 2003 and 2007, he worked at the National Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS), operated by the Brazilian Association of Synchrotron Light Technology. Since 2008 he is professor at the Center for Natural and Human Sciences of the Universidade Federal do ABC, currently in the position of Adjunct Professor III. He is an advisor in the Graduate Program in Physics at UFABC. Has experience in the area of Physics Lasers, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Electronic Control, Instrumentation and ultraviolet Gravitation and Field Theory. It works on the following topics: photoionization spectroscopy, time of flight, engineering lasers, cooling and trapping of atoms with laser, laser spectroscopy and synchrotron instrumentation and beamlines and vacuum systems. He is the elected representative of the area in Atomic and Molecular Science "Users Committee LNLS" since the creation of this committee in 2010.
