Marcelo Augusto Leigui de Oliveira

Doutorado em Ciências pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2000)


Possui Bacharelado (1992) e Licenciatura (1995) em Física pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Mestrado em Física pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1995) e Doutorado em Ciências pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2000). Foi posdoc na Universitá degli Studi di Torino na Itália (2000-2001) e na Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2001-2004). Foi professor adjunto da Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia (2004-2006). Atualmente é professor adjunto da Universidade Federal do ABC (2006-hoje). Foi diretor do Centro de Ciências Naturais e Humanas (2008-2009). Possui experiência e trabalhos publicados na área de Física de Altas Energias, com ênfase em Raios Cósmicos. Membro da colaboração do Observatório Pierre Auger. Coordenador de projeto de pesquisa Jovem Pesquisador, Fapesp (2009-2013) e Universal, CNPq (2005-2007, 2010-2012). Bolsista de produtividade do CNPq, nível 2 (2009-hoje).

 

Holds a BA (1992) and BA (1995) in Physics from the State University of Campinas, MSc in Physics from the State University of Campinas (1995) and Doctor of Science from the State University of Campinas (2000). Posdoc was the Università degli Studi di Torino in Italy (2000-2001) and the State University of Campinas (2001-2004). He was an adjunct professor at the State University of Southwest Bahia (2004-2006). He is currently an adjunct professor at Universidade Federal do ABC (2006-today). He was director of the Center of Natural Sciences and Humanities (2008-2009). He has experience and published works in the field of High Energy Physics, with emphasis on Cosmic Rays. Member of the Pierre Auger Observatory collaboration. Coordinator of research project Young Researcher, FAPESP (2009-2013) and Universal, CNPq (2005-2007, 2010-2012). Fellow of CNPq productivity, level 2 (2009-today).
